To sign up for a MētaMask account:
1. Visit the MētaMask website and click the 'Get MētaMask' button.
2. Install the MētaMask extension in your browser.
3. Click the MētaMask icon in your browser to open the extension.
4. Click the 'Create a Wallet' button.
5. Enter a strong password and click the 'Create Password' button.
6. Store your seed phrase in a safe place.
7. Click the 'I've written it down' button.
8. Click the 'All Done' button.
Your MētaMask account is now ready to use!
Assuming you've already downloaded MētaMask (if not, do that first!), open the app and you'll see the Welcome to MētaMask screen. Click the 'Create a Wallet' button.
You'll be given a seed phrase consisting of 12 random words. These words are your backup and can be used to restore your account if you lose access to your MētaMask account for any reason. Make sure to write them down and store them in a safe place!
Once you've written down your seed phrase, click the 'I've copied it somewhere safe' button. You'll be asked to confirm your seed phrase by typing it out. Once you've done that, click the 'Confirm seed words' button.
You'll be asked to create a password for your MētaMask account. Make sure to choose a strong password that you won't forget! Once you've created your password, click the 'Create Password' button.
You'll be taken to your MētaMask dashboard. From here, you can add ETH to your account by clicking the 'Add Token' button and selecting ETH from the list of tokens. You can also start interacting with decentralized applications (dapps) by clicking on the 'DApps' button.
